It’s Thursday alright, and I’m feeling kind of cranky. I’m still waiting on all the answers I was hoping to get, and I am not very patient sometimes. So once again, I’m going to take advantage of Ali‘s Thankful Things Thursday tradition in the hopes that it brightens up my mood a little bit.

I’m thankful for Mindy Kaling. Her book is making me laugh this week, and I certainly needed to laugh. She got me through my colonoscopy prep last week, and she’s helping me get through this not-so-paitently waiting a little bit faster.

I’m thankful for my new(ish) friend Andrea. Andrea and Megan are the ladies behind The Great Bowel Movement, which is the absolutely amazing place where I got my Ask Me About My Colitis t-shirt and hoodie. I got to know Megan earlier this year through the wonderfulness that is Twitter, and lately I’ve been getting to know Andrea, a fabulous Team Challenge alumni. She is wonderful, she makes me smile, she listens to me vent about the uncertainties of my disease, and she checks in to make sure I’m okay. (Not to mention she makes one super rad volunteer.) She is super awesome.

You know you're not sick of this picture yet.

I’m thankful for a job that I love.

Enough to spend my free time doing this.

I’m thankful for Dane Cook, and most especially “Why Women Win Fights” and “I Did My Best.” Andrea got me on a Dane Cook kick today, and I forgot how hilarious he can be. I am so amused. Also? Helllllllllllllooooooooo… I’m a caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar. Anyway.

I’m thankful for comfy yoga pants from Marshalls. Comfy and a deal. Win.

I’m thankful for chicken noodle soup.

I’m thankful for going to bed early.

I’m thankful for my co-workers.

Tell me, tell me. What are YOU thankful for today?
