My head is a bunch of random this afternoon. I suppose that is what Fridays are made of, right?

As I veg on the couch with Dawson’s Creek on DVD, I’m thinking about all these weird habits I have. What better place to share them than on the internet, right?

This is me. I'm weird. I'm going to tell you why.

I always start watching Dawson’s Creek at Season 3. I freaking love Dawson’s Creek. I am fully aware that it’s unrealistic. All you have to do is watch it for about 3 seconds and you realize that no person, let alone teenager, talks like that. I don’t care. I love it anyway. I own every single season, but when I get in the mood for a marathon, I always start at Season 3. You see, the first time Joey & Pacey get together is Season 3. (If I had any kind of patience, I’d start with Season 1, where you can see Pacey’s little love interest in Joey start. It’s so cute! Alas, I do not.)

I start watching Friends at Season 4, too. That’s when Monica and Chandler get together. Clearly, I know what I want out of my television marathons. I’m also too impatient to start at the beginning and wait it out.

I am very particular about my Taco Bell order. Yes, I have a soft spot for Taco Bell. Yes, I also know it’s not particularly healthy. Whatever. We all have our weaknesses. I always get the same thing: 2 hard shell tacos, 1 soft, and a side of nachos. I have to eat them in this order: 1 hard shell, 1 soft, 1 hard shell, then the nachos. Every single time.

I have to pin my race number to my shirt before I put it on. Otherwise I am incapable of pinning it on straight.

All pinned in place, the night before the race. (I'm such a good rhymer.)

If I’m driving to a place I’ve never been before, I turn down the radio when I get close to my location. I can’t handle the extra noise while I’m trying to think about where I’m going.

On that note, different sounds at the same time drive me insane. Goose can happily have the game on at a low volume while he listens to music. I cannot stand the conflicting sounds and flip out until something gets turned off.

I have to listen to Christmas music on the day after Thanksgiving. Not a minute before.

I put sprinkles in the bottom of my ice cream cone and on top of my ice cream.

I save the “good bites” of my food for last. I like the last taste in my mouth to be the most delicious.

Alright, join me. What weird things do you do? (What better time than Friday night for confessing our oddities?)

    K few things:

    1) Season 1 of Dawsons was my all-time fave. Idk why.

    2) That is the cutest frigging race number ever. I now have to run that race just so I can have one.

    3) Regarding the last three things – we are the same person. Only I get a cup of ice cream. And I used to be a Nov. 1st chrismtas person, but I realize now that it gets old after a while, ha.

I love Dawson’s Creek too. I’m a Pacey and Joey fan but I also really liked the Pacey and Andie dynamic. I eat lettuce in my salad first, then the toppings then the croutons… just because :)

I liked Pacey and Andie too… until Pacey and Joey got together. Then I was so smitten with them that nothing else could ever have been right. I was on pins and needles for the entire finale.

Totally with you with the ice cream thing!

Season 5 is the best! Chandler and Monica make my heart swoon. I think part of that is because so many people have told me that my husband reminds them of Chandler. Now I see him in some of the scenes, too and it cracks me up.

I’m not sure if he enjoys me yelling, “Hey hon! Come down here, this is SO you!” every single time I’m watching, though.
